We lost our camera a week and a half ago (it was in the shoe closet)—and I hadn’t used it much in months before that even when it wasn’t lost—so when Suzie found it I vowed to take more pictures. And then I overdid it, like any good American dad would.

But, I’m glad I did. Elliot and I played this game where she would close the flash, I would pop it back up, and then she would do some crazy scream/dance/laugh/something for the shot and over and over and over and over and over again until I didn’t have any shots left on the card. When I put the camera away, Elliot was telling me: “Daddy, go get the camera.” Maybe I’ve created a monster… A really, funny, cute monster.
