Needless to say, the best part about living in NY is the food. There are SO many dahlicious restaurants so super close to us--a creperie, an indian place, a sushi place, ice cream ice cream, just, a ton. Double bonus--I have this little baby Elliot, who is small and very funny, so people in stores and shops give her treats just to see that greedy little smile. And like my mom used to say, I charge a tax on all incoming goods.
This is elliot at Grimauldi's where we had a super meatza pizza and a good ol margarita. (Check out some beautiful pics the ever impressive jon canlas took that night.) The very Italian owner of Grimauldi's gave elliot this awesome shirt, after telling me that Elliot was in fact a boy's name (oh shoot!) and also that she had jowls like a dog.
The other thing that I love is how many ingredients you can find. Yesterday we were at the chelsea market by cole's work and found the very chocolate chips the NYT calls for in it's quest to create the ultimate chocolate chip cookie! So exciting! We made some cookies yesterday and elliot loved rubbing cinnamon all over her face. She has also recently falled in love with her arm pits and rubbed some cinnamon in there too, saying "pitttssssssss" in her lispy whisper. It was cute at first, but as it turns out, she's allergic to cinnamon. Hives and rashes on on a swollen face=not so cute.

The down side of such great finds is that we are all getting a little fat.
But that's old news for some.

TRUE! NYC does have the best food. We went to this place by Times Square and had the best parmesan chicken sandwich. Ok Russel got it and I ate two bites and was totally drooling and jealous. I wish I could remember the name. I'll have to ask my husband what it was. But that sandwich was amazing, I still dream about it.
oh yum that sounds awesome. and i always order the wrong thing and end up trying to swindle cole into trading with me.
that last picture is claaaaaaaassic. bless her heart.

Ah, Keenan just sent me this and I'm dying. I'm also imagining your sisters reading this and falling out of their chairs at that last picture. You are melting our hearts, one chubby picture at a time.
But seriously, NYC makes you chubby. We're happy, but we're chubby.
