the important things in life

life, love, and death.
these three words can summarize many of the biggest moments of our lives as intellectual, spiritual creatures. i think these things weigh on our minds from the time we are little—though old enough to conceptualize the future—until the time we leave this earth. none—not even love, i would argue—are escapable. and so it seems fitting the most people might worry about them from time to time, that we might try to plan ahead. we want to be in control of the situation. we want it to be the way it is in our dreams; like it is in the movies and the magazines.
these are important things in life.
this is an intimate conversation held between a few of my closest friends as we talked about these events; what it is that we care about and so on.
